The hotel was fairly clean, the room was reasonably large and new-fashioned and the bed was large. Location: the venue was near to the city center as well as Casa Zazil. The restaurant was not too far from the hotel. I didn't want to leave, had a relaxing experience and would book again...

Casa Zazil in Bacalar is a great place to relax while exploring the attractions in the area. the staff is wonderful and friendly, they even take care of the parking onsite. Additionally, the location is just a few minutes away from a bus stop, making it convenient to get around. I appreciated the warm welcome I received.

The room was clean and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. the location was great, close to the lake and in a peaceful area. We also appreciated the safe parking on site.

The Wi-Fi signal was weak, making it difficult to use our laptops for work. there were no rental bikes available at the hotel, and we had to walk a bit to find a rental option in town.

The two sisters who run the hotel, Ana and Maria, were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Despite the language barrier, they made every effort to ensure our family felt right at home. The clean and modern room was a great space for our large family, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. The location was peaceful yet convenient, just a short walk from the bus station and a 10-15 minute stroll to the beautiful lakefront. We couldn't have asked for better hosts during our stay.

My children wanted a playground or play area on the hotel premises for them to enjoy during our stay.
